Getting to know each other
We understand that sometimes it can be awkward when you first meet someone, or when you go to a new place like church for the first time. Let’s get to know each other and help get rid of some of that awkwardness!
You may have some questions, and we’re more than happy to answer those!
We want you to know that when we say you are welcome with us at Open Arms Community Church, we really mean it. We want you and your family to be comfortable and to feel at home with us. We look forward to seeing you.

Where should I park?
Our upper parking lot off of East Main is for handicap accessibility and people with mobility issues, our middle and lower lots off of Tuna Cross Road are for anyone else.
What door should I enter?
If you are coming from the upper parking lot, you should enter through the glass door seen in this photo.

What should I wear?
Dress however you feel comfortable! Some folks dress in jeans and t-shirts, some like to dress in nicer clothes, and we’ve even seen some folks in their pajamas. Just be yourself. No one is going to judge what you’re wearing.
Is there something for kids?
We do have a vibrant children’s ministry for kids from birth through age 11. You can sign your kids in to the children’s area for service and pick them up afterward, or you can keep them in the auditorium with you if you would prefer.
We also have a nursing mother’s room downstairs for your convenience.
Your child’s safety is a priority to us, and if you are signing them in to the kids area, there is some brief paperwork you’ll need to fill out, so you may want to come a few minutes early.
