Getting to know each other

We understand that sometimes it can be awkward when you first meet someone, or when you go to a new place like church for the first time. Let’s get to know each other and help get rid of some of that awkwardness!

You may have some questions, and we’re more than happy to answer those!

We want you to know that when we say you are welcome with us at Open Arms Community Church, we really mean it. We want you and your family to be comfortable and to feel at home with us. We look forward to seeing you.

How to Find us?

Open Arms Community Church

71 Congress Street
Bradford, PA 16701

Let us know when you're planning to attend!

When are service times?

We gather together for Worship at 9AM or 11AM on Sunday Mornings
Our service is typically about 90 minutes long.

We usually have coffee, so you can skip the drive-thru if you want to avoid the long Sunday Morning lines!

Our 9AM services is an Intergenerational Service, which means that a we encourage parents and children to worship together.

During the 11AM service,  our Thrive Children’s Ministry and Nursery will be fully operational.

Where should I park?

There are two parking lots, with an entrance on Congress Street and an entrance on Elm. There will be parking lots attendants to help you find a parking spot.

If you live nearby, we would encourage you to walk, to free up parking spaces for others who need to drive.

What door should I enter?

For now, while we are worshipping in the lower fellowship hall, you should enter at the door at the rear of the building.

You can enter the front doors, and come down the stairs to the left of the entrance.

What should I wear?

Dress however you feel comfortable! Some folks dress in jeans and t-shirts, some like to dress in nicer clothes, and we’ve even seen some folks in their pajamas. Just be yourself. No one is going to judge what you’re wearing.

Is there something for kids?

During our 9AM intergenerational service, children are encouraged to worship with the rest of our church, and we will have some coloring and activity pages to help them learn alongside you. We want to encourage our children to be a part of the service, and they are welcome!

During our 11AM service,  We do have a vibrant children’s ministry for kids from birth through age 11. You can sign your kids in to the children’s area for service and pick them up afterward, or you can keep them in the worship area with you if you would prefer.

We will also have a nursing mother’s room for your convenience.

Your child’s safety is a priority to us, and if you are signing them in to the kids area, there is some brief paperwork you’ll need to fill out, so you may want to come a few minutes early.
