Help Us Finish the Move Upstairs: Join Our Church Work Day on August 15
For months, our church family has been working together to prepare the upstairs of our building for worship. Every room that’s been painted, every improvement that’s been made, and every project that’s been completed has happened because people have generously given their time and talents.
Now we’re entering the final stretch.
On Saturday, August 15, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, we’re inviting everyone who is able to join us for one final Church Work Day before we begin holding services upstairs.
There is still plenty to accomplish before our first service. We’ll be setting up the stage and sound system, moving furniture into place, stocking our welcome area, hanging TVs and pictures, cleaning carpets and floors, installing equipment, organizing classrooms, and putting the finishing touches on dozens of little details that will help make our new worship space welcoming for everyone who walks through the doors.
There are jobs for every skill level. Some projects require tools or technical experience. Others simply require willing hands to help move furniture, clean, organize, or carry supplies. Whether you can stay all day or just an hour or two, your help will make a difference.
Be Part of This New Chapter
The very next morning, Sunday, August 16, we’ll gather for our first worship service upstairs.
Think about that for a moment.
Every chair someone sits in. Every cup of coffee served. Every child checked into a classroom. Every guest welcomed at the door. Every person who encounters Jesus in this new space will be impacted by the work that happens before those doors open.
Serving isn’t only something that happens on a stage. Sometimes serving God looks like painting a wall, vacuuming a carpet, setting up a welcome table, or carrying furniture upstairs.
Those acts of service become part of the ministry that happens long after the work day is over.

We’ll also have projects to complete throughout the week leading up to our first service upstairs.
If you’d like to help on another day, we’d love to find a project that fits your schedule. Whether you enjoy painting, cleaning, organizing, light construction, technology, or simply lending a hand, there’s something that needs to be done.
