What is Christmas Eveâs Eve?
Christmas Eveâs Eve is a beautiful tradition that has become a cherished part of our holiday celebrations. Itâs a night for families, friends, and individuals to come together and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, a celebration of love, hope, and the birth of Jesus Christ.
At Open Arms Community Church in Bradford, PA, weâve designed this special service to be a warm and welcoming experience for all. Whether youâve been attending church for years or this is your first time stepping through the doors, youâll find a place to celebrate and connect with others. We believe in creating an atmosphere where people can experience the joy of the season and reflect on what Christmas is truly about.
An Evening of Music, Performances, and Meaning
Christmas Eveâs Eve at Open Arms is a night full of heartwarming music, festive performances, and a meaningful message. Our talented worship team will lead us in singing beloved Christmas carols, filling the space with the sounds of the season. The music sets the tone for a night of celebration and reflection.
A highlight of the evening is our childrenâs skit, a fun and joyful performance that brings the Christmas story to life in a way that will captivate both young and old. Itâs a perfect moment for families to come together and enjoy the season, with the kids taking part in something special that will create lasting memories.
Our pastor will share an inspiring message that brings the true meaning of Christmas to the forefront. In the hustle and bustle of holiday preparations, itâs easy to forget the real reason we celebrate â the birth of Jesus Christ. This service provides an opportunity to pause, reflect, and focus on the love and hope that the Christmas story brings to the world.
A Warm and Welcoming Community
At Open Arms, we pride ourselves on being a church that is welcoming and inclusive. Whether youâre a long-time member or a first-time guest, we want you to feel at home. The holiday season is about coming together and celebrating with those we love, and we hope that youâll consider inviting your friends and family to join us for this special service.
Thereâs something truly special about coming together with the community to celebrate Christmas. Itâs a chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and share in the joy of the season. We encourage you to bring your loved ones â no matter where they are in their spiritual journey â to experience the magic of Christmas Eveâs Eve with us.

For many of the elderly in our community, the holidays can feel lonely. Some donât have family nearby, and they spend much of their time in isolation. But when we show upâno matter how well we singâwe bring more than music. We bring hope. We bring connection. We bring the love of Jesus.
Do I need to be a great singer? Absolutely not! What matters most isnât the pitch of your voice but the joy and warmth we bring by simply being there. Trust usâthese sweet residents wonât care if you can carry a tune. Theyâll be overjoyed just to see smiling faces and hear familiar Christmas songs filling the air.
Bringing More Than Music Thanks to the generosity of our church family, weâll also be delivering the gifts weâve collectedâwrapped and ready to bless each nursing home resident. This small act of kindness means so much to people who often feel forgotten during the holiday season.
Why Join Us? This is more than caroling. Itâs an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing love to some of the most vulnerable and overlooked members of our community. Itâs a chance to go out on mission together as a church and make a lasting impact on hearts that desperately need encouragement.
So grab your family, your friends, and your holiday spirit, and join us for this special time of giving and singing. Together, weâll make this Christmas season one to rememberâfor them and for us.
Letâs shine His light in our community this Christmas! Will you join us? đâ¤ď¸
